Book on PIL and Global Trends (in Croatian)

Following the conference held previously this year (reported here), the book on Private International Law and Global Trends (Medunarodno privatno pravo i globalni trendovi) has been published by the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Hrvatska akademija znanosti i umjetnosti, HAZU) within the series Modernisation of Law edited by the academic and professor Jaksa Barbic.

RIDOC 2024: Call for Abstracts

RIDOC 2024: Rijeka Doctoral Conference has been announced by the RIDOC2024-Call.

Interested doctoral students and candidates in law or law-related areas may apply by sending the abstract accompanied by their CV to ridoc@pravri.uniri.hr.

15 October 2024 – information on acceptance by the Programme Committee
13 December 2024 – conference presentation

RIDOC conferences have been organised by the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Law since 2016, regularly featuring sessions on private international law.

Roundtable: PIL and global trends, Zagreb, 22 January 2024

The Croatian Academy of Science and Art organises the roundtable titled “Private international law and global trends“, which will be held on Monday, 22 January 2024, at 11 h, in the premises of the Faculty of Law in Zagreb in Cirilometodska street, 4 (due to ongoing renovation of the Academy’s building which suffered damage in the earthquake of 2020, as visible in the photo when expanded). Attendance is open to all, but your intention to join should be communicated to Ms. Muhek at zmuhek@hazu.hr.
