Out now: Commentary on the EU Succession Regulation

978-3-504-08001-3Ulf Bergquist, Domenico Damascelli, Richard Frimston, Paul Lagarde, Felix Odersky and Barbara Reinhartz have written an article-by-article commentary on the new EU Succession Regulation that recently entered into force. Authored by members of the Experts Group that drafted the Commission’s Proposal for the Regulation the commentary discusses all crucial points of the new legal framework including:
  • law applicable to a succession,
  • election as to the applicable law,
  • recognition and enforcement,
  • authentic instruments,
  • the European Certificate of Succession.
