The Threat of Forum Shopping

Peter Frost and Anne Harrison (Herbert Smith) have written a short piece in the new edition of The Lawyer (Lawyer 2006, 20(48), 21) entitled "Company Uniform", which:

Considers the need for multinational companies to ensure that the they are protected from the threat of being sued by employees based outside the UK and employees based in the UK suing them in non-UK jurisdictions. Discusses the jurisdictions of the UK, US, Germany, and France. Notes reasons for forum shopping.
