  • Asides

Burkhard Hess has posted at the Kluwer Arbitration Blog a response to Alexis Mourre’s post which had been a reaction to Burkhard Hess’ Guest Editorial on the question whether arbitration and European procedural law should be separated or coordinated. (12/3/10)

Today, the ECJ delivered its judgment in case C-19/09 (Wood Floor Solutions): Art. 5 (1) (b) second indent Brussels I is applicable in the case where services are provided in several Member States. See also our previous posts on the AG opinion and the reference. (11/3/10)

Alexis Mourre has posted a response to Burkhard Hess’ Guest Editorial on whether Arbitration and European Procedural Law should be Coordinated or Separated at the Kluwer Arbitration Blog. (4/3/10)

The AG’s Opinion in C-19/09 Wood Floor Solutions is available, but not (yet) in English. See Veronika’s post on the original reference for the questions posed as to the interpretation of Art 5(1)(b) Brussels I where services are provided in multiple Member States. (15/1/10)

There are two new references for a preliminary ruling: One on the scope of application of Regulation (EC) 1347/2000 (C-312/09, Michalias) and one on Regulation (EC) No 1206/2001 (C-283/09, Werynski) (25/9/09)
