		<description><![CDATA[Very interesting: how International (Private) Law should repsond to (and be prepared for) criminal acts deserves more attention. My firm acts in various cases with international aspects, also related to fraud. For instance, my colleague Hidde Reitsma acts as the official receiver in the bankruptcy of Bordeaux Advisory BV (a Ponzi-scheme in which approx. EUR 10 million has dissappeared, which appears to have been laundered through a variety of jurisdictions. The (Dutch) criminal investigation ended more or less when the money crossed the borders, leaving the receiver with a very difficult task to relocate the money through civil actions.]]></description>
